“Quite disappointed”

Unfortunately, I can’t recommend this spider as a toy. On the webpage it states “Safety Recommendations: Suitable from birth” Yet both on the spider itself, as well as the attached note it states it is not suitable for kids younger than 12 months due to fibre shedding, which is worrying as the toy is made out of plastic fibre, and in addition is filled with plastic pellets. The plastic material is stated on the webpage, but not the shedding part, and also not that this toy is fabricated in Cambodia. You can get similar toys for a fraction of the price you pay here, but I gladly paid more expecting higher quality. Yet at the end of the day, I received a plastic toy made in a low-cost Asian country. On the plus side, the toy looks great, the eyes seem to be attached strongly and it has no plastic odour. So it might be good as a decoration or for adults, but not for young kids.
