Sassy Sushi Egg is the dreamer of the group. While street-surfer Hosomaki lives in the fast lane, she prefers to take scenic route: drifting through Tokyo’s late-night cafés, notebook in hand and one earbud in (usually playing lo-fi bento beats)…

A soft soul with a sunny outlook, she finds beauty in the small things: condensation on glass, vending machine poetry, the last train home. Some say she’s got her head in the clouds, but really, she’s just taking in the view.

    This little guy is a cheeky fellow!I love the seaweed that makes the rice and the egg stay together, although it’s quite hard to see his little face, but that doesn’t mean he’s not cute! I called him eggy!!

    I gotta love Edward Egg Roll (what I named this sushi) ’s different components! The chonky chunk of fluffy rice that you can shape to make him tall and thin or shorter and wider, the nice little piece of egg that is very squishy and yellow, and of course, the velvety strip of seaweed to tie it all together.
